Bratislava Coronation Days
Each summer the cathedral opens its presbytery, where eleven kings and eight queens consort of Hungary once knelt to be crowned, and the city reenacts a coronation procession from the castle to the old town; the 2026 edition marks the coronation of Maria Theresa.
