Feast of St. James (Festas do Apostolo)
Galicia's national day and the cathedral's great solemnity: the Fogos do Apostolo fireworks and light projections fill the Praza do Obradoiro at midnight on 24 July, and at the solemn Mass on 25 July the Botafumeiro takes flight.
