The Lord's birth is kept with midnight worship, and the next day Car Street erupts in the Vittla Pindi: a clay image of Lord Krishna rides a golden chariot while men dressed as Yadavas break curd-pots hung on wooden gopuras, ending with the image's immersion in the Madhva Sarovara.
